Yoga during the peri-menopause and menopause is proven to improve the bone density of the spine and femur, therefore reducing the risk of fractures as we age. Menopause yoga also helps improve flexibility, muscle and core strength. Yoga counteracts weight gain associated with the menopause and promotes better sleep and mood.
