Join us at The Rosewell Centre for Winter Solstice Meditation and Energy Session on Monday 19th December 2022 from 10am to 1pm. The Rosewell Centre, in collaboration with Ki-Ways, is hosting a small group to observe the Winter Solstice.
Winter should be a time to do a little less and recharge. Instead, most people use the holiday season to run around all over the place and feel exhausted.
Our mind is on autopilot, our thoughts go here and there, exploring the past or the future, and essentially, not being present in the moment. Wouldn’t it be nice just to take a few hours out and spend time recharging ourselves in a safe and supportive environment where others are doing the same?
In this last Meditation and Energy session of the year, the Rosewell Centre’s Sue Hix and Ray Pawlett of Ki-Ways will be helping you to explore the deeper patterns of the seasonal energy and recharge yourself ready for Christmas. Book your place now.
When Ray attended the Amravati Buddhist monastery, he remembers one of the educators saying that he thought we should change the pronunciation of holiday to holy-day.
That way, we would be reminded that rather than tending to our egos by “celebrating”, we would take at least a little time out to recharge and think about deeper matters than what colour crackers to put on the table.
Ray and Sue would like to invite you to our holy morning. Step away from the hectic and let the rest of the world do its thing for a while in a place of openness, peace and healing.
When a group of people join together with similar intentions – the resultant effect is amplified. In other words, you will gain much more by taking a few hours out in this workshop than you would by just “chilling” at home. Hopefully, this will set you up for the festivities to come!
Using meditations and techniques from diverse sources such as Tai Chi, Qi Gong, meditation, healing, Ayurveda and others, Ray and Sue will guide you through a morning workshop helping you as individuals and as a group.
Using these techniques, we will open ourselves to far-reaching and long-lasting life benefits.
Practicing breathing and meditation techniques helps us to steady our thoughts, to pause and choose what we would like to focus on. In short, helping us to have a healthier relationship with ourselves and, by extension, with others.
Sue Hix and Ray Pawlett are our fully qualified and highly experienced Meditation and Qi Gong instructors who will guide you in this event. Learn more about them here.
