Salt Pickled Gherkins – Minty or Gingery

These gherkins started life in Glebe Cottage garden in the summer of 2021, then moved to the brine pickling pot with added mint in one batch and added ginger in another batch. They are a delightful alternative to the vinegar pickled shop bought version.  Small and medium sized gherkins in salt brine.  They need to stay refrigerated below 5 degrees to ensure maximum enjoyment over time.  They will keep under the brine  for a year until the next crop come in from the garden.  These pickles are a live product and help to introduce positive influences on the gut microbiome.
